What I Did This Spring Break.....

My spring break was a really relaxing and fun one. On Monday I went to Atlantic City. The weather was perfect. We spent the night and left Tuesday night. On Wednesday I stayed home, watching movies and eating. On Thursday I went to the mall with my friends and bought a bunch of spring clothing. On Friday, I went to my friend's sweet sixteen. On Saturday, I went food shopping with my mom, and in the afternoon I went shopping again with my cousins. On Sunday, I went to church and then went out to lunch with my whole family. The weather was so nice so we sat in my backyard for the rest of the day. Overall, my spring break was very laid back and relaxing.

If I could go anywhere in time...

There are so many places and times that I wish I could go too. But the one time that I would want to go back is in the 60's. I've been learning about it in history and it seems like such a wonderful time. I love the way that they dressed and the way they viewed things. It seemed like such a peaceful and carefree period in time, I would do anything to live it just for a day. Every thing seemed so simple. I would love to dress the way they did, dance the way did, and just live it like they did. They seemed like they made the most out of everything, and lived in the moment. I would see the signature hair styles that girls and boys always had. I would go dance in the common night clubs that all the teens went to. I would also go to the movies because that was huge and it seemed cheap. I would go to those diners that were so popular at the time. I admire everything about the 60's and I would do anything to go and experience it. I wouldn't want to change anything but I would definitely bring back the outfits that they wore. So if I could go anywhere in time, it would definitely go to the 1960's.

What I Would Change To The Curriculum

There are a lot of things I would like to change to the schools curriculum. The school offers a lot of beneficial clubs and electives, but there are some interests that people have and are talented at, but they are not targeted at our school. For example, photography. Some people are really skilled at photography, and have the potential to launch a successful career with it, but do not have the chance to prove it because our school's curriculum does not offer it. The class would take place during the day if it is an elective, just like any other elective. There are some electives that are not really necessary in my opinion such as sports and marketing, so it could take the place of that. Students would participate in the usage of proffesional cameras provided by the school, and learn how to use a camera in the proper form, and different photographic techniques. They would learn things that they might have not known before, and can really help them if they are intending on pursuing a career. It would be a lot of fun for those who are interested in something like photography, or even those who enjoy art. It wouldn't be a boring class where noone wants to attend it. There would be constant outdoor activities that would interest the students which include photography of nature, people, etc. This is something I would change about the curriculum.

What I Did Over The Weekend

This weekend I didn't do much because of the weathers conditions. I just stayed home and watched movies all day long. The only time I went out was to help my dad shovel outside, and go sledding with my brother but just for a little bit. I didn't mind staying home, because I sat next to my fireplace, drank hotchocolate, and watched different movies, and thats my favorite thing to do on snowy days like that. As for any future trips, I'm going to Punta Cana this summer with my cousins.
